Several years back I had written about one of the best things you can do for your skin is to have a humidifier going , especially in the winter. And this winter has been especially brutal for everyone from coast to coast and I still think having a humidifier is a great thing to have. Living here in MN where we’ve had so many unbearably cold days it is so terribly drying on the skin that it leaves it chapped, cracked and feeling like you look like you’ve dried up and lost all moisture in your skin, your lips and even eyes can get dried out, too. Well, I still believe in the importance of a humidifier and I have one going at home all the time, but didn’t in my office. We’d have the fireplace going and we’d all be complaining about how dry the air was and we were all feeling the effects.
This Honeywell cool air humidifier came to our rescue. We had literally been discussing buying a humidifier for the office when Honeywell contacted me – see they get that they’re a beauty necessity, too! But in all seriousness, we are loving this Honeywell Designer Series Filter Free Cool Moisture Humidifier. Being I work with designers, they do like it when things have a certain “look” about them, and this one they all like because of the sleek design. I like it because it’s easy to refill and you don’t have to change annoying filters with this particular one and when we’re busy and not paying attention (because it’s practically silent) it will shut off automatically when it’s empty. But we all love it because now we’re not so dry in the office that we can go home at the end of the day and not look like we have dried up desert skin.

Oh yes, I need this. My eye doctor told me I needed to be using a humidifier in my bedroom because it would help my severe dry eyes. And I love the design on this because it’s so sleek looking. Thank you for the opportunity to win this!

Thanks for the opportunity! We’ve had similar weather here in Maine, and my shin is a mess. Several days of power loss having to use the fireplace (thankfully we have one) made it even worse. Several of my Dr.s have recommended use of a cool mist humidifier for my conditions, which include dry eye, eczema, and chronic sinus problems. The reason I’ve hesitated to purchase one is exactly the reasons you stated above! So I’d love to win the black, cool mist model.
